Receive Assignment

Notification of assigned activity. Activity appears in your Focus List. Instructions and criteria are clearly visible.

Example:

You're assigned: "Complete client discovery call". You see the criteria: Document 3 objectives, identify budget, note timeline.

Plan Work Session

Review the activity criteria before starting. Identify action steps. Estimate time needed. Prepare workspace.

Example:

Before the discovery call: Review the 3 criteria, prepare questions to answer them, have notepad ready.

Success Metric: You know exactly what "done" looks like before you start

Execute with Quality Gates

Follow activity instructions. Check off criteria as you complete them. Add notes on discoveries or challenges.

Example:

During discovery: (1) Document 3 objectives ✓, (2) Identify metrics ✓, (3) Discuss budget ✓. All criteria met before submitting.

Success Metric: Complete work without asking clarifying questions

Submit for Review

Mark activity complete. Your work enters the review queue. Receive feedback or approval from your manager.

Example:

Submit discovery notes. Manager reviews against criteria. Approved - task moves to next activity. Or requests revision.
